INTRODUCTION OF DASHRATH MANJHI ''LIFE-------
he was born on 14 january 1929 at Gahlore in Bihar.his wife name was Falguniya .he was died on 17 August 2007 .he died of cancer.
INTIAL LIFE OF DASHRATH MANJHI------
there were British regime at the bir5th of Dashrath Manjhi .his village was in plight condition.the big shots and the rich people began to exploit the backward and the poor throughly.the Manjhi family was extremely down and out.there was lack of basic facilities in his village .there were lack of cemented roads ,electricity,water and other basic facilities.
Manjhi 's marriage had been solemnised in his childhood .his father had borrowed money from a rich zamidar but he had not repaid it on the time .so zamidar had pressurised Manjhi to become a bondage labour .but he had not like to become a bondage labour .so he fled from his village and he began to wage there in mines of a coal.
DASHRATH MANJHI 'S LIFE AND RETURN IN VILLAGE----------
He had returned to his village in1955 and the water under the village in the village after donkey's years.his mother had joined the majority at that time.he had liked a girl and wanted to marry with her.he had been solemnised marriage in his childhood.but the girl's father denied him to marry her daughter .because he was in unemployment .he had sat on the hands.but the began to love each other and tied the knot with each other at last.

PATHETIC STORY-------TEAR JERKER RECITAL---------
in 1960 his wife had become pregnant second time and he had got job another side of mountain .his wife used to go there to give him two square meal a day.one day his wife had slipped on the moutain and she injureed very badly.she had been rushed to the hospital.there she had given birth to a daughter and died there.at that time she had broken down .at that time she had pledged that i will break proud of this moutain one day.
STARTED TO BREAK THIS MOUNTAIN-----he had taken a chizel and a hammer to break this mountain .the people used to taunt him with a lunatic .but he had not paid heed over any body's words.he had injured in this work very badly.dashrath manjhi had taken pledge to break this moutain..the village had faced drought at that time.so he had sent his children and his father to another village .but he had not gone any where.he used to drink dirty water and leaves.
LIFE DURING EMERGENCY------in1975 Indira Gandhi had declared emergency.at that time he had been photographed with her.he had been deceived by a zamidar.he had left to see her in Dehli.he was going to Dehli .,but he had not ticket .so he had been alighted from train .but he was obstinate person so he had gone there by foot.he began to start to break this mountain .but he had been incarcerated in jail due to precarious ploy of zamidar.but a journalists had helped him in this massive campaign.
THE MOUTAIN HAD BEEN BROKEN-----
at last in 1982 he had broken a mountain which length was 360 feet,width was 30 feet and height was 25 feet.he had been conferred on padam shree award in 2006 for this waork.
DEATH OF DASHRATH MANJHI ------
on 17 august 2007 he had died of cancer .a biopic had been made on his life.in which nawwajudi siddki had played a vital role of manjhi and radhika aaptay played a role of his wife .
